Roadmap to Shared Prosperity in Florida

What will it take to keep families and children healthy, improve community well-being, and grow the state economy?  Florida Policy Institute has outlined four major goals to foster shared prosperity in the Sunshine State and drive our work forward:

  • Foster community well-being by investing in education and health
  • Spur sustainable growth by promoting equitable economic development, investing in smart infrastructure, and improving climate resilience
  • Advance shared prosperity by nurturing inclusive communities and building a strong safety net
  • Clean up and modernize the tax code for a stronger future

Smart state policies and budgets can reduce disparities and promote dignity for all Floridians. Making bold investments in people and communities and eliminating barriers to opportunity can prime Florida for long-term, shared prosperity.
