Your household is the people you live with and buy food with.Include yourself, children 21 or younger, parents, and spouses if they live with you.

Immigrants can be eligible for SNAP, depending on their immigration status.

This includes earned income from full-time and/or part-time work, and self-employment income of all people in the household.

This includes payments from Social Security (retired worker and auxiliary beneficiaries; survivor beneficiaries; and disabled worker and auxiliary beneficiaries), Child Support, Worker's Comp, Unemployment, PensionIncome, or other sources of unearned income.

This means things of value, like property, cash, stocks and bonds, or money in the bank, except that your home is not counted as a resource.

This includes the costs of daycare, babysitters, or other child care; fees for before-school and after-school care; costs for special needs care.
