Michael Langley
Florida Justice Institute

Michael J. Langley is the Executive Director of Florida Justice Institute (FJI). In this role, he uses a combination of data, public-private partnerships, and the law to create more just outcomes for disenfranchised and other vulnerable communities throughout the state of Florida.

In his experience, Mike frequently serves as a keynote speaker and expert panelist and oft quoted in noteworthy publications such as Forbes, Financial Times, Law 360, and on podcasts such as Just Economy, Race to Social Justice, and  Route to Success to rethink, pursue, and implement smarter, fiscally-sound approaches to criminal legal reform and housing insecurity, respectively.

Mike remains active in the South Florida community and serves on U.S. Global Leadership Coalition (USGLC)’s Florida Advisory Committee, United Way of Miami’s Public Policy Committee, and Self-Help Credit Union’s Community Advisory Board.

After he obtained his undergraduate degree from the University of Miami, Mike earned both his Executive MBA and law degree from the University of Arizona.
