Genesis Robinson is a political strategist and community organizer with more than a decade of experience working at the intersection of politics, public policy, and community engagement. He serves as Executive Director of Equal Ground Education Fund and Action Fund, Florida’s preeminent Black-led voting rights organization, where he leads efforts to educate and mobilize Black voters, protect voting rights, advance policy priorities, and build sustained political power across the state. Since joining Equal Ground in 2021, Genesis has helped grow the organization’s statewide presence, deepen its work in communities across Florida, and strengthen its role as a leading voice on voting rights, civic engagement, and issues impacting Black Floridians. His career has included service in the U.S. House of Representatives and Florida Legislature, as well as leadership in political campaigns and advocacy efforts throughout the state. A graduate of Florida A&M University, Genesis remains committed to ensuring Black communities are not only represented in our democracy, but have the knowledge, resources, and power to shape the decisions that affect their lives.
