Evelyn Almodóvar has lived and worked in Manatee County for nearly a decade as a nonprofit leader and strategic consultant, bringing a passion for equitable access to the resources communities need to thrive. Born to Puerto Rican parents and raised in the Caribbean, she earned a Master’s in Public Administration specializing in social innovation and is currently a PhD Candidate in Public Administration. Her experience spans nonprofit leadership, corporate strategy, policy analysis, and public-sector consulting, including leading national initiatives that expanded access to wellness services for 1.4 million patients and international efforts addressing food insecurity and climate resilience. She currently serves as the Executive Director of UnidosNow, where she leads efforts to empower Latino families and create greater educational and economic opportunities for the community.
