
Carolina Wassmer is a civic engagement leader with more than a decade of experience advancing community organizing, voter engagement, and advocacy across Florida. Born and raised in Orlando to immigrant parents, she has dedicated her career to expanding civic participation and building political power in Latino communities through culturally responsive outreach and leadership development. As Florida State Director for Poder Latinx, Carolina leads statewide organizing and advocacy efforts focused on economic, environmental, immigrant, and voting rights, building on previous leadership roles with UnidosUS and the Hispanic Federation. She is passionate about developing the next generation of Latino leaders and ensuring communities have the knowledge, resources, and voice to shape the policies that affect their lives.
