Afifa Khaliq is the President of SEIU Florida Public Services Union (FPSU), representing more than 21,000 public service workers across Florida. She has dedicated over a decade to building worker power, leading organizing campaigns, contract negotiations, and advocacy for fair wages and strong public services. As one of the first Muslim women leading a major labor union in the United States, she is committed to advancing economic justice, protecting workers' rights, and building a stronger, more inclusive labor movement.
