Recent federal legislation, H.R. 1, includes unprecedented cuts to health care. This session will include a review of the policy changes included in H.R. 1 related to Medicaid cuts and the impact on Floridians and the state health and human services budget. There will also be a discussion on opportunities and challenges related to the Medicaid expansion ballot initiative, along with some highlights and successes from the work of our Medicaid defense coalition.
